If your remote host key has changed and you .ssh/known_hosts file is hashed, then it can be a pain, to replace the entry without wiping the whole file.

ssh-keygen -H  -F HOSTNAME

This will give you the hashed entry, just search the .ssh/known_hosts and delte the row.
